2008 marks the entry of Oceanco super yacht AMEVI into the Mediterranean yacht charter marketplace.
Launched in the fall of 2007, the 80-meter (262 foot) motor yacht AMEVI first splashed down in a shipyard in Alblasserdam, Holland. Since that time, the superyacht is now positioned for business from her home port in Tarragona.

The megayacht is the product of a design and engineering collaboration among the builder, the owner, and the Italian design firm, Nuvolari-Lenard. Mega yacht AMEVI features a large owner’s suite with private terrace forward on the upper deck, and guest staterooms on the main deck. The skylounge deck, with its panoramic windows and large aft deck, brings in sunlight and scenery and offers easy access to the sun deck and swimming pool.

The power system for this Oceanco Mediterranean yacht charter superyacht comes from twin 4,680hp MTU diesels that drive her displacement hull to a top speed of about 18.5 knots. The luxury mega yacht has a range of approximately 5,500 nautical miles at 14 knots. This yacht is equipped with Rolls Royce ZeroSpeed retractable stabilizers and is set up for helicopter operations. She complies with the major maritime safety classifications.

Oceanco designs and builds very large and luxurious super yachts. From Holland, this leading luxury yacht company is constantly committed to the search for avant-garde solutions in its production of large luxury charter vessels. The company’s shipyard is based in Allblasserdam, in The Netherlands, with its fine tradition of yacht building. The sales, marketing, and administration offices are in Monaco, the exclusive center of Mediterranean yachting.

The builder has a highly experienced team of naval architects and marine engineers who ensure that each and every yacht is efficiently built to world class standard. The design team is complimented by some of the finest craftsmen, joiners, and decorators in Holland.

The builder boasts their own in-house design team, but also collaborates with many of the world’s most renowned yacht designers. These designers include some big names in yachting such as Nuvolari & Lenard, Sam Sorgiovanni, Andrew Winch, Alberto Pinto, and Francois Zuretti.
