Motor yacht ELANDESS was launched at the Heesen shipyard on Friday the 4th of July, 2008.  The 47-meter mega yacht ELANDESS is the third displacement vessel of this size recently built by Heesen (yard number
14047).

With steel hull and aluminum superstructure, luxury yacht charter super yacht ELANDESS reaches a maximum speed of 15.5 knots, confirmed by the sea trials successfully carried out in the North Sea.  Engineering on the superyacht had to implement special requirements such as vertical bridge windows and bridge roof extension, which made the luxury yacht charter megayacht very mature. By laying her keel on the first of June 2006 the construction was started.

Not only was the exterior of the superyacht made to the owner’s wishes, but the interior was also designed by Omega Architects together with the owner architect Bannenberg Design was fully-customized. Main characteristics of this beautiful Mediterranean yacht charter megayacht interior are the niche cabinets in the salon and the sky lounge, and the huge variation of different veneers and fabrics such as Macassar, Karelian birch, and bleached Wengé. These and other various special accents and finishes give the interior a beautiful and elegant look.

The luxury megayacht is fully designed to the highest standards and excellent balance has been found between performance and comfort.

The renowned Dickie Bannenberg oversaw interior design efforts.  Accommodations for 10 guests in 4 staterooms provide the ultimate in comfort and entertainment options.  The full-width master suite is located on the main deck.  Features include an ensuite shower and full bathroom, as well as a dressing room and an owner’s study/office.  Three guest cabins are located on the lower deck.  Two of these three double-berth cabins can be converted into twin cabins.  The third twin cabin also features two Pullman berths - a perfect layout for a nanny and her charges - one or two small children.   All guest cabins feature ensuite bathrooms with showers.

State-of-the-art audiovisual equipment is available in all cabins and throughout the yacht.  The entertainment systems include a Seatell Satellite TV System, iPod docks throughout guest accommodations, and a Kaleidescape audio visual system, with Crestron controls.

For watersports enthusiasts, the toy inventory includes a 6.5 meter Pascoe tender with Yanmar 180hp inboard diesel jet drive and a 4.5 meter  Novurania rescue tender with 40hp Yamaha outboard.  There are also two Yamaha waverunners, model VX 1200 Delux, along with waterskis and towable toys, and of course, snorkel gear.
