Luxury yacht ESMA SULTAN, a Turkish-built motorsailor, was launched in 2008.  Designed for luxury yacht charter service, yacht ESMA SULTAN is 37 meters in length and offers accommodations for 14 passengers in 7 guest cabins.

Yacht ESMA SULTAN was built to Turkish Commercial Registry standards by the Nysa Denizcilik shipyard and features interior design work by Ali Riza Turan.   Naval Architect Nusret Celikoz oversaw the construction of the wood-hulled luxury charter yacht.

Luxury charter yacht ESMA SULTAN carries a crew compliment of six during Eastern Mediterranean yacht charters.   This professional group will cater to the needs of up to 14 guests as the yacht offers Eastern Mediterranean yacht charter service throughout Turkey and Greece.    The professional crew is lead by captain Dursun ATES.

The master cabin features a king bed and Jacuzzi bathtub.   Four additional guest cabins each offer a queen-sized berth.  The remaining two cabins are twins, each with a double bed and a single berth.  All cabins provide ensuite bathroom facilities, as well as satellite TV, and a stereo music system.  Air-conditioned comfort is available in all cabins as well as the living room (salon) and dining area.

For water-related recreation, there is a 4.8-meter RIB-style tender with 70 hp outboard engine.  There is also a second tender, a 4.2-meter tender with 25 hp engine.   Watertoys include water-skis, snorkeling gear & some basic fishing equipment.  There is also a Jacuzzi hot tub on the open deck.

Potential luxury yacht charter clients often ask the question, “What is a gullet?”  Gulets (sometimes spelled Gullets) were originally wooden fishing boats used in Southern Turkey. The Turks have always been expert boat builders, and have evolved these boats from Spartan fishing boats into luxury sailing charter yachts with all of the amenities.

They are perfect yachts for a relaxing sail around the alluring and historical ports of Southern Turkey including Bodrum, Marmaris, Gocek and Fethiye.

Gulets are hand built by craftsmen from local pine and mulberry on the Turkish Mediterranean coast, and from local oak and chestnut on the Black Sea. Their superstructures are usually of teak, iroko or mahogany. These boats are equipped with motors as well as fully functional ketch, schooner, guletta or gaff sail riggings.

Gulets generally offer large expanses of deck space perfect for lounging or sunning, large salons and dining areas, and several cabins with individual bathrooms. The most luxurious offer air conditioning and all of the water toys you’d like.

The number of passengers on a boat depends on the yacht’s size and design. All the gulets offer their guests separate accommodations, services and entertainment. The friendly crew have their own quarters and will give your party as much privacy or service as you desire. Most boats have air-conditioning in the cabins, cooling them comfortably for an afternoon siesta and for the night. The system is generally turned off when the crew retires to reduce noise, especially in the harbors.

Lounges are big enough to seat all guests, should they prefer to dine or relax below deck. On-deck, accommodation is generous, with sun loungers and mattresses for guests to enjoy the Mediterranean sun. Aft-deck and mid-deck lounges, with sun awnings, offer cooler alternative areas in which to relax.

Gulets in many ways are like small full-service hotels where every room has a constantly changing sea view. There is also no better way of enjoying a cooling swim, whilst at anchor in turquoise waters.
