voyages of discovery across the world’s oceans.   LEO FUN has been styled and designed by Paolo Caliari with the contribution of the shipyard’s own naval architects.

Jean Guy Verges has designed the interior of LEO FUN; which will feature accommodations for 12 guests and as many crew. Built to ABS class and fully-MCA compliant, the superyacht will achieve 16 knots, powered by twin Caterpillar 3512B engines. Her fuel-carrying capacity of 100,000 liters
ensures that she will not need too many “pit stops” during a Mediterranean yacht charter.

Proteksan Turquoise Yachts Inc. is a joint venture between the two leaders of Turkish Boatbuilding Industry; Proteksan Yachts Inc. and Turquoise Yacht Construction. This union constituted the pioneer of luxury yacht builders in Turkey with worldwide recognition and impressive fleet at sea.  The company was established in 1997 to start building the 50-meter M/Y Mosaique. Following the success of Mosaique, 10 other mega yachts, ranging from 40 to 58 meters have been delivered to their owners.

In 2005, a company named Celik Yat, was founded in the Kocaeli Free Zone with the goal of producing mega yacht hulls and superstructures. After the steel and aluminum work is completed at Çelikyat, the vessels are transferred to the Proteksan Turquoise Shipyard where the interior decoration
and rest of the work is done.

In 2007 the company moved to its new facilities in Pendik with a capacity of 4 yachts up to 80 meters.  The new facility will allow the  builder to deliver 3 top class yachts every year.

Motor yacht LEO FUN is 53.85m (176′ 8″) in overall length.  As an explorer-style yacht, this vessel places an emphasis on enjoying the ocean in safety and comfort and does so with economical fuel efficiency.

Her watertoy inventory includes 2 mid-size tenders, a rescue boat, and a towed 32′ Intrepid.   For active luxury yacht charter guests, there is fishing equipment, a Yamaha VX Deluxe waveruner, two kayaks, two bicycles, a moped, and a wind surfboard.

The main salon features a 50′ plasma TV with Dolby surround sound, as well as an iPod docking station and DVD player.
