When customers plan a Caribbean yacht charter, a great deal of time is spent chatting with their yacht charter broker — discussing the destination, the lavish meals, the watersport toys, and the onboard amenities. Truth be told, the difference between a good yacht charter and a great yacht vacation is the crew.
After a successful Caribbean yacht charter, the charter guests often write a testimonial as to their overall experience; however, it is easy to overlook the “other” people onboard - the crew. Few stop to think if the crew had a good time, as this is just “their job.” In reality, serving as crew on a luxury mega yacht or superyacht, or even a smaller sailboat charter vessel is so much more - it is a special, free-spirited way of life that allows the crew a chance to share their lifestyle with the charter guests.

We will motor back to Charlotte Amalie tomorrow to take care of a few things and start on to Sint Maarten and Antigua in preparation to meet some clients (now friends) there who will be sailing with us for a second time.
